The After School Club opened in 2010 and has become a very popular after school childcare facility. The club is run by our staff members Mrs Clare Ryder After School Club Supervisor, Mrs Paula Smith, Mrs Sam Deacon, Mrs Alison McKee, Mrs McMahon and Miss Jemma Amos.
The children are provided with a wide range of activities each afternoon, these include board games, arts and crafts, puzzles, table football, stacking cups and dressing up. We also play outside where we have scooters, skipping and football for the children to use. Each child is provided with a snack and drink during each session. We have a selection of sandwiches and wraps while the weather is warm, as it gets colder, we serve hot food these are noodles, spaghetti hoops, baked beans, bagels, toast and crumpets. The children can have fresh fruit every day with their snack. We serve orange and blackcurrant squash and have hot chocolate as an extra in the colder months. Water is available at all times. The After School Club runs from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday, term time only, at a cost of £7.00 per session, per child and is to be paid in advance. We are able to accept child care vouchers such as Eden Red, Computer Share, Busy Bees Benefits and Fideliti. We are Ofsted registered and our parents can claim up to 70% of the cost for child care provision through the Tax Credits scheme. Payment can be made through the School Money App.
