Library

Our school library is an exciting place which is used extensively by the children. We have a lovely librarian, who is able to offer help and advice choosing books. We have well over 4000 books available for children to read and borrow, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry and graphic novels.
Our library is open at lunchtime, when the children can take out books and find a comfy spot and quietly read. Or have a go at one of the challenges or creative activities organised by our librarian.
Each class has dedicated library times, during which they can spend time reading, being read to or changing their books.
Each pupil has their own library barcode, which enables them to choose a book to take home for two weeks. These can be books that they want to share with adults at home or books they would like to read themselves.
We love it when children recommend books.

Please speak to Mrs Cornish if there is a particular author or book you would like see available in our library.
