School Uniform
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Girls
- Skirt or pinafore dress - black/grey tailored.
- Trousers - dark grey or black tailored, straight legged (not tight or fashion trousers).
- Summer - blue and white check dress
- Socks - grey, white (blue, grey or black tights in winter)
- Polo Shirt - white short sleeved polo shirt with collar and school logo (logo not mandatory)
- Sweatshirt - blue with school logo
- Cardigan – blue with school logo
- Fleece – blue with school logo (outdoor wear only – not essential)
- Footwear - black shoes or smart all black trainers which have the appearance of a shoe (no high heels or boots)
- Wellies for Forest Area
NB. When the children reach Year 6 (only) the sweatshirt and cardigan is red with the school logo.
Boys

- Short tailored grey or black trousers in Summer (not sports shorts)
- Socks – grey or black
- Polo Shirt - white short sleeved polo shirt with collar and school logo (logo not mandatory)

- Footwear - black shoes or smart all black trainers which have the appearance of a shoe (no high heels or boots)

NB. When the children reach Year 6 (only) the sweatshirt and cardigan is red with the school logo.
We ask parents to avoid buying shoes with high heels, since they present a safety risk to the children wearing them.
Pupils are asked to have hair in a conventional hairstyle. Long hair that obscures vision should be tied back. Colour is not permitted.
A school hat (baseball type) may be purchased from Barnums. This should only be worn in the summer as protection from the sun.
Jewellery
Children may not wear jewellery except ʻMedic-Alertʼ bracelets and one stud in each ear. For safety reasons, jewellery, including ear studs, may NOT be worn for PE.
PE Kit –
To be worn to school on PE days only:
- Coloured T- Shirt in ʻHouseʼ colour
- All black or navy shorts (not lycra)
- All black or navy jogging bottoms
- School sweatshirt or cardigan (no hoodies or track suit tops)
- Sports Trainers
- A pair of plimsolls or gym shoes should be kept in school for indoor PE
Kits are to be worn on PE days only:
Monday - Year 5
Tuesday - Year 4
Thursday - Year 3
Friday - Year 6
If your child joins a sports club that runs on an alternative day to the class PE session, they will need to bring their kit to school to change into.
