DRESS LIKE A CELEBRITY CHARITY DAY
DRESS LIKE A CELEBRITY DAY!
Today we are invited the children to dress up as a celebrity in exchange for a £1 donation.
The School Councils across the Coastal Alliance Co-operative Trust have organised fundraising events this day to support local charities. Our School Council has agreed the focus for the event and elected two charities to receive the money raised. These are:
South Room and The Food Larder at Christ Church, Herne Bay
South Room offers support and assistance to anyone who needs it, supporting with a range of issues and needs. Some individuals need support with a benefit application, an energy bill issue, or a housing or debt issue. Others would appreciate help with a CV, job application or to take a job list. People can also come for a chat and a hot drink. It is run by Christ Church, Herne Bay. The Food Larder provides emergency food for those in need and is open to all.
SNAAP, Herne Bay
SNAAP informs, encourages and supports parents and carers who have a child (aged 0-25) with any special needs or disability, enabling them to provide the best possible help to their children via a range of services with a focus on the whole family.
The costumes all look amazing and we thank you all for your kind donations. This will be distributed to both charities which I am sure will be put to good use.
