Music
We are passionate about Music at Herne Bay Junior School and are proud to offer a truly wide range of musical opportunities to our pupils. During a typical week at HBJS you will hear;
- The 80 strong choir rehearsing for their next concert
- African Drumming Group, Jazz and Blues Band, Samba Band and Rock School practicing
- Classes enjoying music lessons
- Almost 100 individual and paired instrumental lessons being taught by our team of professional music teachers.
We believe that giving children the opportunity to take part in music making enriches their lives and leads to greater academic success too, so please take the chance to come and see the HBJS Music Department in action when you can!
