Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club sessions are run by Mrs Katie Clark Extended school club Supervisor, and club assistants Mr David Ware and Miss Kelsey Gibbs from 8am to 8.45am Monday to Friday, term time only.
When the door opens at 8am the children come in and hang up their coats and bags. They are then welcomed into the main room where breakfast is served. They are free to serve themselves cereal and a member of staff will serve the toast.
The children are asked to stay seated at the tables until 8.20am or until they are finished after that time.
The children are offered a healthy breakfast of the following low sugar cereals, Cheerios, Boulders and Rice Crispies. We serve toast with a low fat spread. We also set out jam if the children wish to have it. There are on occasion’s Choob yoghurts. We offer Sugar free Orange, Apple and Blackcurrant squash, the children can also choose Milk and Water to drink.

Once a week we have special items such as Waffles and Pancakes.
If your child has specific dietary or intolerances and medical needs, please contact Mrs Clark. We are a nut free club, but we do have dairy products on site.

When the children have finished eating, they must go and brush their teeth and clean their faces. A tooth brush and tooth paste are requested to be brought in each day and named. This is regardless whether they have already brushed their teeth at home.

After breakfast the staff organise a few quiet activities such as board games, a film and the Nintendo Wii. If the weather is nice the children enjoy a short playtime outside until 8.45am.

The cost of each session is £2.50 to be paid in advance.
