ADMISSION TO HERNE BAY JUNIOR SCHOOL

Our aim is to establish a happy and caring community where children will quickly feel secure and eager to learn.  It is our hope that parents will feel able to share in any of our activities.  Our joint effort should then ensure that pupils have the best possible opportunity to enjoy school and make excellent progress. We are a four form entry school with excellent facilities, including a large playing field.  We are very proud of our school and welcome all prospective parents to come and have a tour with our Year 6 representatives and an informal chat with Mrs Nation.

Please contact the school on 01227 374608 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for an appointment.

In Year Admissions

If you wish to transfer your child to the school, please contact the school in the first instance to establish whether there are any spaces available.  If there is a space for your child, you will then need to complete a Primary In Year Admission Form.  This is available from the school or you can download it from here together with information and guidance notes.

You can get more information here on the KCC website about primary schools or here to view information about secondary schools.
