Year 5 Bushcraft Trip
Last week staff and children from Year 5 set off on a camping adventure to Bushcraft in Hatfield Woods. For many it was their first time away from home so there was a mixture of nerves and excitement.
Thankfully the sun was shining and after dropping off their belongings the children got the chance to learn new skills like making and lighting fires, building shelters and even using knives to carve tent pegs out of Hazel wood, under the watchful eye of the Bushcraft team leaders of course!
Check out Lexi’s fantastic video presentation on Bear Grylls which she produced as part of her independent project. Well done Lexi!
