The School Council visit the Houses of Parliament

On Monday 23rd September our newly elected School Council made their way to London to visit the Houses of Parliament. After an early start the children enjoyed a ride down the River Thames on the Thames Clipper. We then disembarked at the Houses of Parliament. Our School Council enjoyed a guided tour around the Houses of Parliament, including visiting the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

Afterwards our School council enjoyed a workshop all about fairness, voting and we learnt about the Suffragettes. After a busy morning we ate lunch in the gardens surrounding Parliament before starting our journey home. An inspiring day was had by all!
