Film Preview ‘Marcus and the Mystery of the Pudding Pans', Seaside Museum, Herne Bay
What a delightful preview evening! We enjoyed every moment; the children's gleeful excitement and rightful pride in the outcome of their participation; the beaming proud parents; the curators, staff and trustees of the amazing Seaside Museum; the surprise conjuror (Lake's father!) and last but certainly not least, the film makers - Phil and his team of wondrous folk! Truly we felt very privileged to be there.
The film was enchanting and a brilliant history lesson! Phil Gomm and the professional film crew (UCA) were quietly there, yet their presence shone in the impact upon all those involved, adults and children alike. Despite the long and many hours demanded in order to reach the point where the film was finished and ready for release, the team were very committed to presenting everything to a point of perfection, so all those who took part were given an opportunity to celebrate with a genuine sense of achievement. Phil and the film makers being a part of the preview gave us all a chance to natter and get to know more of the complex and time-consuming 'behind the scenes' work. A warm and sincere thank you to everyone!
