Art Builders at Dreamland
What an amazing day it was! Presented with a mountain of paper and card and using tape and glue for joins, the Art Builders were asked to work with a number of local artists and help to create everything it takes to make a lunar landscape. First of all, making the moon’s surface – that was a LOT of paper all joined up together. Next, we were asked to design and make long panels for a space ship, with lights, levers, buttons and more. Finally, we got busy constructing the moon buggy. A whole lot of people working together on that!
As the day came to an end, the landscape was put together and then it was the turn of the cameraman – using a 360* camera – he filmed the children wearing their handmade space helmets as they sat on the moon!
Our Art Builders were exhausted but very, very happy as we headed to the station to catch a train back to Herne Bay.
