Young Voices Concert At The 02 Arena
HBJS choir travelled to the O2 arena this week to join over 7000 other children in the world’s biggest series of mass choir concerts. The concert featured X-factor stars, an amazing urban dance group, a slick professional band and of course; the Young Voices choir including our children.
The concert was a great success with an audience of thousands and many of our children's parents made the journey to see their children take part in this great event. Thank you for making the effort, the children were thrilled to have you there! As well as singing and dancing their hearts out all day long, the choir performed brilliantly as ambassadors for the school, 'living' our Community Code and Values in action.
Book Launch at the Kings Hall
On November 27th, Year 5 and 6 children attended a book launch event at the Kings Hall for a book they wrote last year with the author Charlotte Firmin. On the night, two children were chosen to read from the book to the audience of around 150 guests.
The book has been published and will be coming to our library very soon!
